About Sabae Coffee
Our Story
Sabae Coffee was created from humble beginnings in the birthplace of coffee by female Ethiopian entrepreneur; Yetnait Aberra.
Yetnait was born in Ethiopia, and lives in Addis Ababa with her husband and two kids. She is an avid coffee lover, passionate mother and is extremely active in her community in Ethiopia.
Her passions and background have assisted in shaping Sabae Coffee. Yetnait wanted to create something socially conscious and active in empowering single mothers and women that want to get into business. Yetnait is an active member on the board of a local charity.
Aside from Sabae Coffee, Yetnait loves to travel the world and spend time with her family.
Our Mission
Sabae Coffee’s mission is to share Ethiopia’s organic and deliciously full-flavoured coffee with the world while empowering the lives of Ethiopian women and farmers.
Sabae Coffee provides training and empoyment to women (often single-mothers) and supports our local farmers in Ethiopia to provide everyone with the ability to care for themselves, their families and their communities.
Our coffee is ethically sourced from farmers located all around Ethiopia, and 20% of our profits are donated to Shamida Ethiopia.
